If I had to choose my all time, all-around favorite watch brand, it would be Seiko. You can go into just about any department store and pick-up a brand-new Seiko for far less than $50.00. Or, you can spend thousands on their high-end, incredibly complex and well-made mechanicals.
Of all the watches I own, and I own a lot, a 1970s Seiko diver is my absolute favorite. I choose it over Omega, Longine...
