Everyone who knows watches knows Elgin. Back in their heyday, before the name was bought by a - ahem - less consistent watch firm, the Elgin name meant quality, style and durability.In fact, I own an Elgin Sportsman from the 1950s that I wear virtually all day everyday. It's a 60 year old watch, and it's still going strong.
